What are you using to carry your mags when they are not stored? I have a 6-mag MOLLE pouch that my Pmags fit in but its a PITA to load though they're fairly easy to remove.

I use my Eagle-SKD version universal chest rig with two optional Eagle M4 Molle single mag pouch at the open Molle area of the right and left edges of the rig.

This particular Eagle model have a built-in 4 single mag pouches with two Molle locations at the outer ends, two mags could be placed in each single mag pouch, so my 6 pouch setup could hold up to a maximum of 12 mags, but I usually carry only 6 to 4 mags to avoid the extra weight.

It is a very well made chest rig but at a value price, I'm very satisfied with mine and will get another one for sure for my AK.

Check out the Tactical Gear forum to see more different chest rigs and vests, also owners reviews.

More seriously, I love my Elite Survival Systems assault pack, and my LA Police Gear Zombie Hunter Bag.

Bladetech with Teklock, OSOE Micro PALS Rig with Tripple Shingle and Single Shingle, and a Chinese "Mag Purse". Plus there's an extra in my B.O.B./G.H.B./3 Day Pack. (not pictured)

...and of corse one in the magwell.

Damn, I wish they sold those at my Sonic. All I can get is a foot-long chili cheese dog, fries, and a coke.

As a serious answer to the OP, I use a MOLLE FLC in ACU that I picked up at a Gun Show for $35 with all of the Rifleman's pouches. I stripped some of the AR Mag pouches off and it is setup to carry 6 AR Mags now.

Eagle Industries patrol bandoleer for the win...small, lightweight, quality gear, that holds 4 AR mags and 2 pistol mags. I used it at an AR class and everybody that showed up with their chest rigs wanted one hahaha.
