What’s up with the CZ 457 Scout?

Has it actually shipped yet? Haven’t been able to find it in stock anywhere.

Is there anything similar that’d be worth looking at for a 7 year old kid?

I love mine!! So small and still very comfortable to shoot. Great for kids (and me too)

There probably isn’t anything finer for a 7 yr old. They are also easy to upgrade to a receiver target peep. I would suggest keep looking until you find a 455 or 457 scout.

I looked high and low for one to give to my youngest.

Ended up buying the last ruger American compact in Anchorage.

Heck even regular cz rimfires were gone.
None to be had and dealers did not know when more would come.

I bought one in August and it’s still sitting in my safe waiting to go to my oldest daughter. She turns 8 in a few weeks, so it’s almost time.
