What's wrong with the original (new) factory finish (K-Kote or Nitron?)? Recoating a new firearm that's going to be a CCW weapon is a waste of money. I'd wait until it starts to wear through significantly.
Now, after 40,000 rounds and ten years on my P226, I had Mac's Shootin' Iron Restorations put GunKote on it and it looks NEW. Not the toughest finish, and it wears through at the rail contact points, but it only ran my $80 with four mags refinished, too.
