Well they can be had in walnut.
It looks good even this way, beats the hell of any sage stock and fixes the cheek weld problem. |

It's not bad. Of course, my preference would be to have one darker or stain this one.

i for one like it and i think you should get one. i like the high cheek rest. it looks alot more comfortable than the standard stocks the gun comes with.

I bought that same stock and then changed my mind. I decided to keep the USGI look. I would sell it to someone who is interested, shipping included. I never used it, bought it about 6 months ago. Nice look, good quality, heavy, just not what I needed.

I like it. Just needs fisish sanding and a few coats of oil.
I bought one a few weeks ago for my .308 Garand project. I usually like the 'traditional' blued steel & walnut look, but there is something about a nice laminate that draws my eye. I saw a beautiful Fulton Armory M1A with a laminated stock last year at Camp Perry, and I can't get it out of my mind.  |
