Web-Tex is alleged to be Arktis' lower quality alternative. That looks a lot like the Arktis vest, though. They're OK, but they're pretty light duty rigs. They don't line their pouches, so the eurothane backing on the nylon can get sticky. The stitching is mostly single, with some areas of double stitching. They go for cheap on Ebay; if you can get one for less than $50, they're probably worth it. Overall, I'd say Arktis is towards the bottom of the scale of "real" gear.
