OK so you are talking about a Vector Mp5 clone with a built in suppressor for 3,000?

yes vector marked saltlake city mp5sd with a vector marked suppressor screw out suppressor  I know there were only 50 made but what was original cost on these and what are they worth now ?

I'm gonna say check with HKPro.com on this one..I did a search and there were a few guys that bought that model..no one mentioned the price but I'm sure you can IM them ...

If you do some real looking you can find a real 94 for 3 stacks, obviously no suppressor, but I live in a partial commie state with no suppressors so not that big a deal for me. Seems pretty high for a clone unless it has all the happy HK bolt and carries goodness... Even then..

Possibly, but if a person wanted a real HK, then they are going to want to SBR it, replace barrel with MP5, install paddle mag release, and have it refinished. People routinely tie up much more than $3k getting all that done. That doesn't even count the suppressor - which to some IS a big deal.
There is definitely a clone market.

OP, if the can is a decent design and well built, it'd probably be worth it. SD's are alot more complicated that a standard MP5 with a conventional suppressor, and the cost of having one built from a standard A2/A3 would be much higher, even on a clone.
