Guys at HKPro like 'em. One is on "The List" for me.

If you're gonna SBR, the pistol version might be better.

yeah. I had thought of SBR it eventually which is why i chose it over the v-93. I would rather have a "rifle" rather than a pistol for now though. do you have a link for hk-pro forum?

With a pistol you just pop off the end cap and pop on the stock.

I have one and SBR'd it. It's a great rifle.

One of the guys on here told me that he tried to just buy a stock on the pistol version and he had problems with it working properly (I think it was nugent).

Vestor gave me credit for the fake silencer and the fixed stock when I had them do the work.

I bought a V53 pistol and love it.  I put an MP5 collapsible stock on it, and it works great.  I've owned it for over 2 years now...and no issues.

I bought the pistol version too. I works great as a SBR with either an HK A2 or A3 stock.

I also run it with a registered sear. No problems at all!

My recent experience with Atlantic was not great.  Never had an issue with Vector.

You can get the gun for the same price direct from Vector Arms  Atlantic doesn't give dealer pricing, Vector does.  It will probably cost you the same in the long run but at least your dealer will make something for his trouble.  They also warranty the gun- Atlantic is just a middleman and they'll no doubt tell you that if a problem arises.  Vector also has steel and aluminum mags for a good price (they give dealer pricing on those as well- something you might discuss with your dealer)....

i did end up using atlantic, they were a little cheaper than list msrp from vector (about $100 i think). never tried to get a dealer price direct from vector though. ar15 discount was only $25 on a $1500 rifle, but better than nothing. still waiting on it though...

I know atlantic does not warranty anything. what kinda problem did you have? IM me if you want

ok, getting closer. Is it OK to shoot wolf 55gr and 62 gr thru this thing? I dont mind the smoke and dirt of wolf (I run wolf in AR's all the time w/o hesitation). Is there any specific reason not to run wolf thru this fine piece of machiney? (like extraction or chamber problems)

Mine eats everything I feed it...almost all 55gr and 62gr stuff.
