While the AWC MK9 is effective, it is BIG and HEAVY! Weighs almost 2 pounds and is 2" X 12".

But it works.

I think SWR makes a UZI nut for the trident IIRC

Gemtech makes an adaptor for the multimount as well

If I was going to get a dedicated UZI suppressor I would get the Gemtech MK-9K. They did make an UZI barrel nut mounted version for a while, but not sure if they still offer it. Of course I still love my three lug mounted suppressors. I run a SWR Trident 9 suppressor on my Mini UZI which is a more flexible suppressor being able to use it on pistols as well.

MK9K with uzi nut is the heat. gemtech does limited runs of them from time-to-time, but i suspect you could call them up and order one whenever as the MK9K is a regular production unit - they'd only need to make the uzi nut, which is pretty simple.

At Gemtech, we do have the UZI mounting version of the MK-9K in stock. Because the suppressor itself is fairly short, the barrel does need to be shortened to the "Secret Service length," which is 3/4 inch forward of the flange. When ordering a suppressor, I will shorten and recrown at no additional charge.

thanks for the info on availability Dr.

not that it's worth a whole lot, but my uzi and MK9K is the one setup i'll never sell. i absolutely LOVE that can.

if i ever get around to getting myself another uzi, i'll be calling you folks for another MK9K.

I am running a Trinity with the MM adapter on my Uzi and it works great!
Been thinking about a MK9 but can't decide on the mounting method.
PHD can the mounts be changed on the MK9 say Uzi nut to 3 lug or is it one mounting system or the other?

Both the Bowers CAC-9 / CAC-45 and the Trident-9 have an Uzi barrel nut mount. Both work very well.
