I've used Extreme 30 cal plated bullets.
They work fine. I don't push them hard. (full power) |

Maybe not a a direct comparison, but I resized some 73 Gr. Berrys .312 HBWC bullets to .308 and loaded them with Trailboss for suppressed use in a Contender.
Accuracy wasn't exactly impressive. But when lodes backward, the big hollow cavity expands like crazy on impact. Accuracy was the same with the bullets seared either direction. They probably wouldn't feed through your AR, though.
