How much are they asking?
A lot of guys will trash universal based on second or third hand info. I had one that I got for $175. Stripped it, cleaned it, lubed it, and shot the hell out of it without a single problem. It was the two spring setup BTW, the one that you are supposed to avoid. I bought it before I knew the difference. The springs being referred to are the recoil springs. |

+1 You can find a good USGI M1 carbine for less that $100 more than that. |
