Does anyone know if the Umarex ,22LR Uzi carbine uses the same barrels as their HK MP5 and 416 clones? I've seen several threads with folks saying you can SBR the MP5 clones by acquiring a 416 pistol barrel and doing a swap then cutting back the barrel shield and mounting one of the thread adapters. Can the same process be used on the Uzi carbines or do they use a unique barrel?

Also I have read that the fake can comes off of the Uzi carbine clone just like the one on the MP5-A5 clone, if so can the Uzi's barrel then accept the same thread adapter part like the MP5/416 barrels? If both models, the Uzi and the MP5 clone, can accept the threaded adapter part from the 416 can they mount a 22 suppressor? I've seen a lot of threads and discussions on these clones but virtually nothing on running them with a suppressor, or if they even can be run with one.
