I own a semi auto UZI SBR 9mm and a Tirant 45s can
my question is if I have the 9mm piston and a threaded barrel
1/2x28 will this combination work well together?

Thanks in advance for the help/info

Don't forget the fixed barrel spacer.

You need the fixed barrel spacer to replace the piston...you don't want to ruin your piston.

It doesn't replace the piston. The piston is what threads on to the barrel. It just stops the nielsen device from moving.

People have mentioned the spacer, piston, etc.  But I'll add to it that it's a great idea.  I've found the Uzi suppresses very well.  It's also still reasonably compact with the can in place.  Get your barrel threaded and don't look back.

I have this exact setup...nice little package.  However, I just had the Uzi threaded .578 x 28 so I didn't have to keep swaping the piston out....there was plenty of meat on the barrel so it was an easy option.
