As I was walking the woods last night with my GSD, PVS14, AR15 and really cool new torch, I started wondering if it would be possible to somehow mount the torch to my bike helmet instead of my AR? It's kind of a pain (an not necessary the best as far as gun safety goes) to be pointing my AR and torch at everything I wanted to see (though not necessary shoot). I was kind of thinking of maybe getting a piece of rail and somehow (screws or epoxy) attaching it to the helmet.

Thoughts from the group?

Well, it depends on WHAT kind of bike helmet you have; if you have an Protec type helmet, then a WIlcox NVG Mount will fit you right.
(The auction linked above is for the helmet moun, the swing arm is NOT included - Sorry.)

But I figure that a mount will work, just as good (with a bit of tweaking).

I've using a helmet mount for my PVS14 so I don't need that, what I need is some way to mount the "Torch" to my helmet...

I guess you could get one of those rails that mount on A2 handguards and screw it onto your helmet.
