SNIP My mistake. I thought the post was about materials. |
Yes I know my comments are not inline with technical discussion excuse me for trying to be humorous.
Back to the topic at hand;
We could all speculate what SureFire’s cans are made out of or one could do a little research (I tried) and share the information or we could all just sit back and contribute nothing I thought that is what message boards were for… learning?
SureFire Suppressors are made from the fallowing materials:
Titanium
Stainless Steel
Inconel
Billet Cow Paddy
You pick what you want it to be made out of because apparently facts don’t mater anymore.

I don't know what you are trying to do, but you come accross as a rabid follower, or advertiser. I only say that because it was annoying to see a magazine article from Surefire's magazine posted here. Maybe its just me- terms like "cool science" are annoying to me.
The cans are inconel according to GTS, what alloy I don't know offhand. The mounts or at least some of them, as per someone at ADCO who posts here, are stainless steel.
The spring, and possibly the nut you tighten on the back of the can, could be made of stainless I would guess as they are not exposed to internal combustion gasses.
If there is no titanium, then there is no point for this post.
