Just curious as I am considering a gas-lock sight setup, such as SEI's, but need a muzzle brake instead of a Vortex FS to keep things legal.

SEI is coming out with a Cali legal muzzle brake version of their DC Vortex.
It's probably what I'm gonna use on mine.

Edit; it's described as a compensaror
If you find another source for any other ban legal muzzle attachments, let me know.
I have the gas block front sight and need something for the muzzle.
