I have one of the pre-lawsuit GSG-5's in perfect condition I'm thinking about selling.
I just like my SIG 522 more, and I want a real HK in 9mm.
I have extra mags, the box, tools, everything that came with it, and test fired only.
Are the older GSG's more valuable than the new ones?

I'm in the same boat. I have a new in box, never fired GSG-5. It is one of the first that ATI imported for Atlantic Arms. After messing with the HK contracted MP-5 .22, I think it feels more balanced and more like a real gun than the GSG. So, I'll probably sell it off to fund the HK MP5 .22.

I just purchased a 1st anniversary edition GSG 5 SD.with tactical bag , magazines, red dot and ammo for $360 and it was never shot.   I believe it depends how bad someone wants it that would determine selling price.

I sold my 1st Anny edition,well used recently for $400 on a local site.Had a bunch of pm's from guys wanting it.Was shocked by the responses.
Total win since I got it for a $20 raffle ticket.Did'nt shoot it anymore but now I miss it...It just looked cool in the safe

You'll probably lose money on it if you paid full price.   I know I can't sell mine to get my money back, but that's okay.  I mod it enough where it feels like a real one.  It would be a fun shooter if I had the time to take it out.

BTW you can send it into ATI and they would update your Gen 1 for free.  There are some fixes that need to be done.   They did it to mine and actually replace the the front sight with a nicer one (IMHO) along with charging handle assembly.  They give all the old parts back so if you don't like what they did, you have spare parts.  I only sent mine in for the rivot upgrade to the ejector.

If you don't shoot it and don't plan to shoot it, I'd sell it.
