[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Tactical Assault Gear (TAG) - Good to go?

Don't recall ever seeing any of their stuff talked about on here, but looked them over at SHOT and love some of their stuff, especially their slick plate carriers for work. They stuck out in my mind against all the other companies through the week and when I ran into one of their guys later on and asked some more questions he was right there with answers that didn't sound rehearsed and empty. To top it off he tossed my a sling as I was walking away.

Anyone run their equipment and if so, how's it holding up?

TAG is good to go...

Well built and designed equipment. Decent CS from what I've seen.

2nd best MOLLE/PALS attaching system/method out there (tabs instead of snaps).

There are threads on here about them, and I have done reviews of some of the gear on here. I have a ton of their stuff and all of it is good to go. Check out ares armor for better prices on the TAG stuff. Also I have a few more reviews of their gear over on the ITS forum.

I've spent a good portion of many paychecks on TAG gear for my deployments. Tough as nails with a lifetime warranty. I like the attachment systems better then MALICE clips as well.

O we've talked about TAG namely in their terrible delivery times due to whatever way they ship. If they've fixed that then I'll order from them again. Otherwise the gear is outstanding and yes their method of attachment is the best in the industry IMO

Yeah, took about 6-8months just to get a hat. But the quality and design is the best I've seen.

Quality gear,

Took forever to get it though and that was after I had to initiate contact with them.

Check to see if it is in stock first,
Once you get it you will not be disappointed.
