Been running one for quite a while and really like it. My only complaint is that the grasping area is a bit short. I stilled mine and it works fine for me.
The early DSF models had battery drain issues, this was later corrected by Surefire. If the lighthead on your DSF has a serial number on it, then it's the newer version without the battery drain issue. http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_6_1/436545_Best_surefire_forend_light_for_870_.html |

I just need a new forend tube so I can mount the thing on my older Wingmaster. |

Check out the EoTech forend competitor product of the Surefire forend. I think the EoTech is better buy. The Surefire one is very very short like somebody mentioned.
