Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Suppressor Questions

What is the life expectancy of a suppressor?  Does the use of non sub-sonic reduce its life or cause excessive wear and tear? Can the be repaired if needed?  What should be looked for when shopping?  I need a mate to my HK USP Tactical.

All of the manufacturers will give you a life cycle estimate for their designs.  There's no way to answer your question without specifics.

my understanding on if a supprosr can be repaired is that the body ie the tube is the registered part so all u have to do is send in the tube back to the maker and have them install new baffles and other internals
