Ive got 8 lbs of Red Dot. It works well for .308 but would like input on 223/556 options.

I don't suggest 4.0gr Red Dot.

I think I had 5 rounds made up.
Low (that made it out): 629fps
High: 907fps
Avg: 888fps
ES: 278fps
SD: 122fps

Somewhere, member Twitchy tried 4.6gr and had wild numbers.

I used trailboss. IIRC it was 5 gr but dont remember 100%. They worked. Didnt cycle of course but was neat to make. Never made any after that tho.

Hodgdon's on line data has subsonic loads.

They will not operate an AR.

Thanks for the replies. Yeh i know subs wont cycle but wanted to work on some loads.
