It is made in Greece, with no integral rail..are all parts interchangeable with HK parts and trigger groups, any limitations???

The one I had was ultra reliable and the fit and finish was great....

I have a JLD PTR-91 and the SAR was as good in the fit and finish as my PTR...

Sorry I could not give you a exact value...I would say in the $1200 range depending on the scope...the stamped SAR's are more vauled by buyers, that know what they are looking for, than the cast ones...

Springfield SAR3/8's imported from Greece (steel receivers) are the next best thing to an original all German HK. They're made on HK tooling in a licensed HK factory in Greece. They are not parts guns assembled from surplus G3/91 parts kits like so many other HK91 clones on the market today. Expect to pay anywhere from $900-$1400.

Actually, IMO they the old sheet-metalled receivers are better than the real HKs. You don't have to use the sight tool make adjustments to the rear sight. The SAR8 has a little thumb screw for that purpose. Shoot every bit as good as the HKs.
