The only place I know of is Brownell's.

Believe it or not, Mossberg makes an 18.5" barrel for the Remington 870.

If you don't mind that fact, it's probably a heck of a lot cheaper than a genuine Remington barrel.

 Mossberg makes Remington's barrels.

Sparky, best place I've found is Vang Comp.  Call and ask if they have any "take off" bbls, around $118 IIRC, they have a very nice finish on them.

I sent back two different 870 riot bbls to Brownell's cause they were rusted.

Try E-Bay. There are usually several listed. Usually takeoffs in very good condition. $118 from Vang for a takeoff is a very good price.

I looked at as many sources as I could find when I built my dads 870 hd. I eventually ended up buying it directly from remington for $96.40 plus shipping. but you can't get them (at least they wouldn't let me) through the accessory barrel program. I went through the remington parts department.

its a pdf and you either have to fax it in or call it in. heres the addy for the parts list, just scroll down to page 38 or 39, its on that page.
http://www.remington.com/pdfs/rempartslist.pdf

and heres the order form addy, you'll need it if you want to fax in the order
http://www.remington.com/support/parts/orderform.htm

I counted at least 10 different variations  on the 18, 18.5, 18.75 inch barrels. they range from the $96.40 to about $300. and then they also have 20" police barrels

hope this helps

I bought an 18.5" Mossberg barrel for my 870 and it was a completely different color than the 870's frame.  I didn't order any fancy finish, so try and view your barrel before you buy a Mossy.
