The ASP sling with the stock stub would let you try out one of the best single point slings and if you find out that you don't like it on your M1A you can use it on something else using the stock stub or for less than $11+shipping you can change to a different style stub for use with a different style attachment point.

Interesting, that ASP sling is something like my Specter Gear MOUT sling.
I have to wait on my rifle to return from SEI before I can give a try. |
