I need to sight in my carbine.  The rear sight is adjustable by sliding it forward or back.  What position should it be in to sight in and to shoot  up to 100 yards.  Does the front sight need adjustment?  Thanks.

You should set the rear sight at the lowest (100) yard setting.
Some worn sights will allow the sight to move just a bit UNDER the 100 yard setting so make sure you have it on the correct 100 yard mark.

Set the windage in the center of the scale.

To target, you'll have to either file the front sight down, or replace it with a new, higher sight.
Once you have the windage right, loosen the tiny screw on the windage scale and center it with the mark on the sight.
