It's not a bad price. They are well made and generally pretty accurate for an old military bolt action.
8mm surplus is still available and I have no problem finding it at gunshows for around 50 cents per round. |

I had one of those a few years ago and it was an excellent rifle. I miss it, but I was offered a good deal for it.
That's a good price for it right now, too. I wish I could find another at the price I paid back then, though!

yes, they are solid rifles.
For a good cheap shooter i would do it.
