Does anyone know where to buy parts for an SBS project? I saw a gunbroker ad a longtime ago that was a "rebuild kit" that included everything but the receiver. With all the SBSs out there, I know there has to be a distributor/manufacturer that sells parts and/or kits-no way all of these are roll your own.

I think most roll their own, or for an 870/590 they find a factory barrel. CDNN had factory 870 14" barrels for the longest time for around $100.

Parts are hard to come by. Unlike AR pistol parts, there is a VERY limited market for shotgun parts (sub-18" barrels for example). You need a stamp either way (SBS or AOW). Those CDNN barrels were a pain to get IIRC; that's why they had them so long.

It's also hard to justify spending $100+ on a new barrel with a hacksaw & pipe cutter will work just fine. No fancy crown required - just cut & be done.
