I was looking at the stamped parts aspect compared to milled guns.
Also, it would be easier for the fact that it already has 2 more modern guns to
take parts from ( or the simplistic ideas ) the AK47 and the HK roller guns.
I'm just saying that it would be pretty easy to make all of the parts necessary for the gun
given what we know about AKs and HKs.
I think the 1 big thing holding a Stg.44 back is the ammo, not availble WW2 kits.
Anyway, I am just taking a shot at the idea... I'm no expert. Hell, no one can even stamp
a quality AK or HK94 receiver ( after many tries ) in the US, so I guess a 44 would be out of the
question
