This fall I would love to convert my sl8 into a G36 clone. I have yet to find any reputable companies in my area or online that offer's this service.

Any pointers or leads on who to contact or how to get the ball rolling on this project would be greatly appreciated.

I have one NIB SL8 that will remain stock. While my second baby is going to go through mutation this fall.

Thanks!

What form of the G36 series are you interested in converting your SL8 to? Different types of the rifle are more expensive than others. Does NJ allow hi-cap magazines? If they allow 30 rounders, then you would definitely want to purchase a G36 mag well for the G36 magazines. NJ is not a friendly Class III state, and SBRs are out of the question. That knocks out a true "K" or "C" conversion for you. You need to check your state laws, because you are going to have to comply with U.S. parts count in your rifle, since it was imported. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v216/428SCJ/100_1078.jpg
