Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - SBR parts question (buffer)

Got my F1 back in the mail today, getting ready to wear out the credit card.  Question - on a 11.5" SBR (will be using a CMMG upper), is a standard carbine buffer sufficient or do I need to get a heavy buffer?

I think you'll find they both work fine. I've interchanged regular an H buffers in all my SBRs (11.5" and 10.3") cmmg is the shit btw, good choice.

In a semi auto gun, you would find std. buttstock buffer will work.
