While I sit patiently waiting for my tax stamp to be in my greedy little hands I decided to assemble the lower today.

Surplus Ammo & Arms lower
PSA LPK
Magpul MIAD
Magpul Moe
Spike's 11.5" upper
arriving tomorrow is a H2 buffer and a pistol buffer tube that will get me by until I can add the stock.

it's 100% legal, it has no way to attach a stock, it started as a registered lower receiver so it can be swapped from pistol to rifle at will.

With the exception of the furniture color that's fairly close to how mine will end up.   I'm running a Aimpoint on my mid-length, I'm undecided on another Aimpoint or a Eotech for the SBR at this point.

Here's my sbr with a 10.5 Spike's upper. It is my favorite.
You have a nice SBR in the making.

be careful... that pistol you just built waiting for the stamp will evolve into wanting another pistol when the stamp arrives for this one.

except you will go shorter...

Which will turn into another SBR.

I want to buy some more lowers, but I'm changing careers and I don't trust myself.

That's a given, when I ordered the 11.5" upper I was deciding between a 11.5" or a 10.5" and already knew I would build the other.    Building AR's is almost as addictive as tattoos.   Sitting in the wings now I have 3 more lower receivers, 1 for a SPR or a SAM-R, 1 for my wife's 14.5" mid, and one for another SBR.

Maybe it's just me, but I would have function checked a lower before registering it as an SBR. What if the magwell is out of spec, or of the pin holes aren't exactly where they need to be. I'm sure you will be ok, but I would have assembled the lower and used another upper, or assembled it as a pistol and function checked the lower.

I guess I was confident in Aero making an in spec lower.  It is, and It's all good.
