I have a RRA 9mm rifle and am looking to go SBR - 10.5 in. Question is should I send the barrel off and have it cut down for around $60 or order a complete new upper for $430 and then sell my current one? Only drawback to cutting down is no more warranty on the upper if I cut the barrel. What do you guys think?

Buy a new upper. That is what I would do.

Buy a new upper, then you'll have a reason to buy a lower later.

I cut my fast one down. I was to cheap to order another upper or barrel. Really did not need a extra 9mm barrel around. If it would have been a 223/5.56 barrel I would have bought another

Get a TROS 9.25 inch barrel.

Since it's a 9mm I'd just have ADCO or someone cut it down, plus you could have it contoured to your liking too, if you prefer that.  Or buy a barrel only, no need to spend another $100 on an upper you don't need, besides that'll be getting you fairly close to an extra case of 9mm ammo!
