What is the better platform for a gemtech outback II suppressor?

The Walther will be the easiest, but I suspect you'd be much happier with the Ruger, since it's a way better built gun.

Define "better".

With that suppressor, each gun will sound the same.

Longevity: Ruger
Accuracy: Ruger
Reliabilty: Ruger
Versatility: Ruger
Quality: Ruger

Looks: Walther (depending on personal preference)
Ease of attaching: Walther

Ruger II vs III?  Skip the 'idiot proofed' III and find a MKII.  Even if it's used.

As always, YMMV.

They're both pretty inexpensive, eventually you should get both (seriously!).  If you want a fun gun to suppress, get the P22 first.  Then, when you want to start shooting for groups, get the ruger.

As a long-time P22 and MKII owner, get the Ruger.

Better means- more gooder.
Sheesh, like the post said the Ruger is a " WAY " better built gun.  In terms of accuracy, materials, craftsmanship, reliability, and what ever else you want to put in there.
