Posting a few pics to see if there might be any intrest. These pics are of the first prototye. Second proto has numerous changes already made. Just haven't got it to the shop yet. This will accept AR15 stocks and pistol grips, with the exception of the DPMS panther grip and clones. Constructive comments and opinions welcome.

That looks pretty sweet, whats the price gonna run on them?

If I may ask, can I see an A2 stock on it?

A good friend of mine that owns RB Precision designed and had it CNC machined from solid billet aluminum. There are 2 pieces that were machined separate, the top rail cover and the mount for the pistol grip. The final product will have rail mounts for sides, bottom, and posible full lenth rail on top. There is a adapter in the work as well too allow for any stock you put on it to be a side folder. I wish I had more information on it, I am new to the 10/22. I spend most of my time with black rifles. I have notified my friend about the reponses to the pictures and he said that we will answer emails and get on this site to answer questions. I wasn't expecting this much intrest from all the board that I posted on.
Don't quote me but I think he was hoping to have production started by mid Aug. (Don't quote me).
I just shot the pictures and wasn't allowed to post them until the patent came back. So now that I can post pics give me some ideas what you might want to see on it or disassembled. If I get the ok to do it from da boss I will get on it.

I think you can contact him at [email protected]
If this isn't correct go to the website and go through the contact link.

Thank you for the intrest,
Static

Looks pretty cool.  I think it will all depend on price as to how popular it becomes.  I do like the look however.  Naturally, I just bought a laminated stock a few weeks ago for my 10/22.......Typical.

I like it a lot,    what kind of pricetag?

Don't Quote me...shooting for around $140-160 without stock or pistol grip. Depends mostly on final cost casting and / or  machine work and how many we can do initially.

I will have more pictures up this weekend with different stocks, pistol grips, barrel and a look at it disassembled.

Thanks for all the emails and replies,

Static

what's the legality of a collapsable stock and pistol grip on a 10/22?

Illegal right now, unless installed on a "pre-ban" 10/22. And the 10/22 would have had to be configured as an AW before the cut-off date to be grandfathered. So, until the ban sunsets, it will only be legal on 10/22 rifles that had folding stocks before the ban.

From your initial post I suppose it will be cast aluminum. Correct? Certainly looks nice. Have you checked interest over at RimfireCentral.COM?

Why the dip above the pistol grip? Not sure of the cosmetics of that.

Ok!Ok! I figured the rhyme was better than the pun "Why the dip behind the receiver?"

Alright, I'll say I'm interested.

I'm assuming that this will be an optics only type of thing? Probably can't use irons, unless you mounted a taller front sight post, right?

Had some troubles logging in on my other account or I would have posted sooner...I'm interested as long as it's not too much...if it's under $200 you can definately put me on the list.  Any chance of rails for flashlights, ect. on the front?  Let us know when production starts.

Cheetah,

I have the stainless HB with the spiral barrel and nice laminated stock. I got it thinking (STUPID ME) that it pretty much has everything I could possibly want to add 'cept a scope.  Popped a cheapo Simmons on it and then everyone starts posting all this cool stuff.

DOH!

Oh well, only money.

I've said this before, if I could only have 2 guns for the rest of my life (but as many of them as I want), it would be the 10/22 and the AR.  You could build dozens of each, and never have the same configuration.

These stocks free float the barrel, I am working on a forging die and a casting plate (allow two different price structures). These will definatly be under $200.00 my target is $150.00
Thank you for the feedback, we were on the fence whether to proceed or not, your input has pushed us toward manufacturing..THANK YOU!

We are also in development of additional 10/22 products, Barrels, extended mag release, and more.

Well with the combination of the floated barrel and the target price of 150, I'm definately getting one, keep us posted on how production's coming along, and put me on any kind of waiting list .
