Rubber Buck is still used in lots of places OCONUS for crowd control. I have several rounds, but they are only curiosities. It can wound or maim if misused, and in the US, I think you will find that the "firing of a firearm at at person, or a conveyance in which a person is riding in" is considered to be "Deadly Force", pretty much no matter WHAT the firearm is loaded with. If someone is hurt, or dies, YOU will have the "onus" on you to prove it was a legit use of Deadly Force.
Rubber shot and most other "specialty" loads are just not worth the expense or effort. If you are justified in firing a firearm, you are also justified in using effective ammo. I will pass on this stuff for my personal use, thank you. JMO |

You are almost 100% going to be charged and convicted of somekind of intentional maiming and unjustified deadly force if you use less-leathal on perps.
You basicly convict yourself of unjustified deadly force because if you needed it, they why did you use less lethal, answer, cause you didn't need to, and off to jail you go. In some places, just pointing a firearm, loaded or not, is deadly force. Might aswell get the biggest bang for your buck and put the guy down for good. |

That's what the Daisy Red Rider is for. Let the professionals do crowd control - your shotgun is for defense. Rubber bullets are not going to consistently stop an attack. That's why the good lord gave us 00 buck. |
