My local gunshop had a bunch of lowers custom made for them from LMT and they have THEIR(my gunshops) logo's engraved on them. Their ugly as heck and I am going to be sending my receiver to Orion for SBR engraving and would like a custom logo put in place of the gunshop logo. My question is can I use say JB weld or Bondo to fill in the logo and still be able to have that spot reengraved?

Also before its said I AM NOT FILLING IN AND IDENTIFYING MARKINGS SUCH AS SERIAL NUMBER OR MANUFACTURER NAME OR ADDRESS.

Thanks,
Isaac

Ummm, no. Not going to be able to reanodize or engrave over bondo or JB weld.

ETA- best be would be to mill away the logo if you find it offensive and get the lower refinished.

Check Orion Arms website. They do offer fill in and re-engraving.
