You will want to go with a +2 extension.
I have a Tac Star and would not buy it again if I had the chance. The tube is crooked, the spring is a little underpowered, and it feels cheeply made. I am planning on getting a Wilson Combat +2 extension for my next build. |

Wilson +2. It's one of the few one piece tubes on the market tube which makes installation and take down simpler.

Personally, I like the Wilson extension and also have used the factory Remington +2 and +3 with no issues. Next will be the Vang +2 on the big Super Mag.

Wilson Combat, best value on the Market in a tube extension. $45 any where and comes with a sling plate or vertical plate with a quick detach stud on no sling plate. Lot's of forward mounting options to pick from.

Another vote for Wilson. I like the way the sling attachment is affixed to the system.

I like the Wilson, Remington, and Nordic. I have heard good things about the Vang Comp as well.

I run a vangcomp +2 unit on my 870 along with a Wolff spring that Ive had to fine tune to my liking...good stuff

I have the Remington, Wilson, and a Nordic on my Benelli,
I'd recommend the Wilson first, then the Nordic. The Nordic is pricey. I don't really care for the Remington, actually I think I'm gonna sell it and buy a couple Wilsons. I wonder how hard it is to cut the sling plate off the Wilson without screwin it up. |

Anyone know what type of finish is on the Vang Comp and Wilson extended mag tubes? Looking for a +1 for my 870P.

The wilson is parkerized, it matches my 870P damn near perfect.
