I traded a CETME rifle 3 weeks ago for a 50 year old Remington 722, 4 shot mag 308 cal. bolt action rifle. The rifle looks as if it has been sitting in a gun case all those years, not used as a field gun. It shots 1" groups at 100 yards with the 1980's surplus NATO 308 ammo i have been using to zero in the scope. This is the 1st bolt action rifle that i own. I own several semi auto main battle rifles. My question is how do i take the bolt apart to clean the firing pin and springs that are inside the bolt. I don't believe remington will still have an owners manuel after almost 50 years, any advise will be of help to me. This rifle will be used for target shooting not for hunting.
