I paid $525 for mine in similar condition about 3 years ago; I'd say it's a HELL of a good price! New ones are listing at ~$700 for the ghost-ring model.

There are three on gunsamerica.com right now. All three are the 18" barrel with bead sights and mag extention. One is new for $625, the second is like new for $600 and the third is new for $638. So $400 looks like a great price. MIKE.
