I put on on layaway at a pawn shop yesterday, I'm pretty sure it was an 1148. It does that barrel stroke/eject thing, or rather blowback. I was planning on buying a 16 ga. 1100 for my son, this one is a 16 so  i bought it. Two questions: 160.00 plus tax, sound like a good deal? I would rate it at a strong "good" condition.  Pertaining to a blowback if i go from a 30 full choke to a 26" modified will that have any bad effect on function? I don't think the barrel is thick enough to thread for choke tubes. Ok one more q, is this a good shotgun? Hope somebody can  tell me about this thing, THanks!
