I was wondering what some of you guys prefer for powder loads.
I use 115 grains of Pyrodex behind a 385 grain conical, and 55 grains with a patched round ball. These seem to work pretty good... Huh? What's that? Well, it say "50 Cal" on the forum title! My T/C Hawken is a .50 caliber! OK. I'll go back where I belong...

Try 220 grains of 5010 and let us know how it works out.
