Wondering if it's possible to determine tube specs for a unit that doesn't have a spec sheet. Or are the specs only determined at the factory at the time of manufacture?

There's a few places that do it - iirc, it costs a little over $100, which is pretty cheap, but they can't measure all the specs.

Easier to compare it directly to a tube of known performance and approximate it's specs.

You can also find out stuff like resolution yourself if you download some charts for it and set it up in a dark room at various light levels.
