I want to stick an 18" barrel on my beater Polytech m-14S.  What is involved in doing this.  The poly is stock, no added USGI parts.  Also where do I get one of those barrels?

... or you can buy the "bush" barrel from Springfield Inc and have someone mount it for you.

Or if you can wait over on http://www.m-14forum.com/ there is somebody having chrome lined 18" barrels being made up.
