As some of you may know, many airline pilots now want to carry/keep a handgun onboard. I myself believe this is an excellent idea. It would be a great deterrent to terrorists who know the pilot has a weapon, and has been trained to use it.

Please, if you believe in arming your pilots, drop by and show your support. The petition closes April 28, so dont delay. It's time we did more to protect our airways. We cant rely ONLY on baggage checks and screening to keep us safe.

I'm a A&P mechanic working for the airlines. How about letting me go to work armed! If the pilots knew the mechanics were packing heat there would be less write ups or maintenance delays!

Mine said something along the lines that I thought it would be much better for an arline pilot to have the last chance/shot than an F-15 pilot.
