Below are pics of my new addition....

I took her out yesterday after a good cleaning and it ran like a top!!! I only put 5 mags down range as I was limited on time but I was surprised how well it ran. I plan on adding a MIAD grip and CTR as well as KNS anti rotation pins. Also, I have a 9mm upper I plan on using...I'll post updated pics as soon as I can. BTW, it was just under 3 months from mailing paperwork to in my hands, form 4 with a trust.

Nice rifle and nice lawyer pants... Did you do the trust yourself?

Lawyer pants...thats hilarious . No, I referred to a Trust Lawyer. Yes, I got it from Ruben who I highly recommend...very smooth transaction.

Thanks for the kind words. Quick question...if I replace the a2 stock with a mil spec receiver extension and appropriate buffer and spring, will this affect function/reliability in full auto at all? Thanks for any advice.

It shouldn't. I traded my A2 stock out just the other day for a magpul UBR, changed the buffer and spring, still runs great.

Nice looking colt.

In state transfers are faster, especially with a trust.

BTW, I have my eye on some guns that Ruben has for sale, spoke with him last week.

I would say that it depends on what buffer weight you go with and what upper you slap on it. If you go with a Colt H buffer and a R0977 upper group, you shouldn't have any problems at all.

Nice gun too!

Beautiful A1... takes me back to '02 when I picked up its twin. Best gun I have ever owned. Enjoy.

...but it has gotten a lot smaller over the last 7 years...
