I just picked up a Bushmaster M4A3 from Gunsmoke the other day. I had them put on their extended A2 brake, APMS 40 rear, BMAS front sight and Colt M4 handguards. All work was first rate that the price was certainly right at under $1000 minus the Trijicon Reflex shown in the photos.

The Rock River Fixed stock buffer spring was short cycling a bit so I replaced it with a standard A2 spring I had in the tool box. It runs flawlessly. A big thanks to Ed at gun smoke who built a rifle that is not easy to get especially in 14.5" and proper comp attached. Certainly worth the wait.

Is that a new style windage knob on the ARMS #40?  Mine came with a standard A2 style knob, but the one in your pics looks different.

Yes it is different than the standard A2 windage knob although I believe the A2 knob can be retrofitted if desired. Otherwise, the knob that came on mine looks similiar to the adjustable replacement that one can buy for their A1 sights.

Enough about the gun... tell me about that CAR!

Is that your GTO?  Did you do the restoration?  Is it original?  I have always wanted either a 67 GTO or a 70 Chevelle SS 454.  I had a chance to get an all original Chevelle but at $15,000 I couldn't convince myself to jump in time and it sold before I had the cash!

Your GTO looks great and you are my god!

If it was an original SS with the matching numbers motor $15,000 would have been a steal on a 70 right now. They are going for $25k plus and $40k plus for an LS6.

My dad and I owned an LS5 in the early 90's.

It needed a little body work and the paint was faided but I understood it to be original.  Like I said... it sold darned fast at that price....

That was about 3-years ago....  I still wish I had a way at the time but such is life!

Thanks for the compliment on the GTO. I lost a British '68 BSA motorcycle I restored 2 summers ago in an accident. Rather than getting another Motorcycle, I figured I can try my hand at restoring a muscle car since I've always wanted one from the age of 8. It has been real fun and the good part is I have not had to turn a wrench on it in 10 months since it was finished....just turn the key and drive.

If you get the chance at finding a solid original and have the time a dedication, the feeling when it is done is well worth it!

Guns and Guitars...so...so...AMERICAN!

Yeah count me in as a EVH fan. What was the tip-off? :) Especially the early Stuff! Marshall head is a '67 or early '68. Do post your pics!
