Hi AR fam.

Many months ago I purchased and built PSA's AR-9 lower compatible with Glock mags.  This is the no BHO version, seen here: http://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-billet-9mm-lower-w-mag-catch-assembly-and-ejector-1.html .

At the time of purchase, there were a few pistol length built uppers available but I wanted a carbine length setup.  I have patiently waited for a carbine length (16")  9mm upper to be restocked but nothing has come.

My question is, does anyone have experience or knowledge about 9mm upper/parts compatibility with this lower?  It says it requires the "PSA Hybrid" type upper, but required is kind of a loose term these days.  If I don't need to wait for the PSA brand/design BCG and barrel, I'd rather just stop waiting and buy or build something that will work with it.

Thanks.

New Frontier Armory upper should work. Give them a call.

If you don't care about the LRBHO feature, any AR-15 upper work. Those lowers are made by New Frontier, but you'll catch a unicorn before finding an upper with the LRBHO right now.

Thanks for the replies.  Coincidentally, PSA just posted a 9mm upper but it is a 4"...  They even sent me an email saying I should finish my build with that 16" 9mm upper I've had on my notify list.  Excitedly, I clicked the link and OUT OF STOCK.  Their troll game is top notch.

They make a nice 7.5" upper.
That's what I used.

I am very pleased with mine.

Good info.  I've been thinking of picking up one of their lowers.  Sounds like I should just wait.
