part reliability and replacement are a little sketchy, ammo is no longer cheap...   given the cost & wait, I sold mine off unfired

Yes it is an easy and cheap SBR to do.  My FIL SBR'd a 7.25 years ago.  Parts kits can be found here or here.

I SBR'd mine, and I'm still pissed off that I had to pay 200 bucks just to make the stock fold out.

Does make it nicer to shoot though.

Can you PM me how hard it was to make fold ? I have plans to get a spare lower kit when my form 1 comes back but just how hard is it to do

I just had a catalog from Centerfire Suystems and I think they sell the stock (folding) as a kit separate from he gun. I'll post a link if I find it.

ETA: Its a kit with lots of parts Including the stock.

Seriously considering doing the same thing with the 9mm version.  I had one in 7.62x25 but sold it because of the ammo situation.  I wish I had paid closer attention to how the stock was welded.

There are 9mm conversion barrels, and the same magazine and bolt works.  I have one on transfer that HOPEFULLY will be approved in the next month.  Unless things change radically with the ammo situation I'd get on the list for a 9mm barrel.

I just picked up my PPS43-C.  Question on form 1 line 4a.

I currently have 4a as follows:
Pioneer Arms Corp
Radom, Poland

Leave as above and list "I.O. Inc." in 4h?

Or should it read:
I.O. Inc
Radom, Poland

with "Pioneer Arms Corp." listed in 4h?

I'm pretty sure the way I have it now is correct with reference to I.O. Inc. in 4h.  Just looking for confirmation.

Thanks

If me, I would do this:

Pioneer Arms Corp
Radom, Poland
Leave as above and list "I.O. Inc." in 4h.

My form 1 should should be approved very soon and my receiver is on it's way back from Ident.

I made some new threaded release buttons and I have a few extra if anyone needs one.
