I'm going to go the trust route and start the ball rolling on a .22lr suppressor this week.  I am also picking up my new Walther P22 as well.

I have a question for guys shooting suppressed P22s.  Do you think the SWR Spectre is a good can for this gun?  It's a little pricey, but I think it will last a long, long time.  It's steel, and it can be taken apart, but it weighs half a pound.

Do you think it would cause cycling issues with a P22 due to its weight?

The P22 has a fixed barrel, the weight of the can won't effect cycling.

I will be picking up my son's P22 tonight or Tuesday night. I have the Spectre. Will try to fire it by end of week.

I will post my results and thoughts.
