Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Olympic pre ban lower and thormomold mag problems

I need you help.  I have a pre ban oly lower.  Regular mags seem to work fine when inserted in the well.  However, the thoromolds seem to not catch the bolt release inside the well so the  bolt will lock back.  and even if i press the bottum of the bolt release to manually lock the bolt back...it is a bear to then let the bolt go forward.  any suggestions?

Run the bolt over the mags several dozen times.

That will shave down the feed lips, and they should work fine.

I had the same problem with my Thermolds. The bolt didn't want to move over the feel lips, and they didn't want to stay in the mag well.

After running the bolt over each one a dozen times or more, they work fine now.
