How much do mags cost, can the 45 use 45super ammo, 11.5 (w/ perm suppressor) or 16 inch barrel? I want stopping power and reliability. Ammo cost is not a concern. What do the balistics of each look like?

10MM out of a rifle barrell has got too be going pretty fast, and if money is no object thats what i would get but if cost of ammo was a big deal I would go with the tried and true all american .45 auto.

10mm out of a carbine barrel has some impressive energy.  it is a much higher pressure load than the .45, so it will take more advantage of the longer barrel.  the 10 will also shoot quite a bit flatter due to the higher velocity.  if you have ever tried to shoot further than 100 yards with a .45 you will know it has some substantial drop.

both are good.

i'd go with the 10, especially if you reload.

Go with the 10mm.

11" barrel and 10mm 135 grn. @ 1700 ft/s = about 900 ft. lbs. of energy.
